How will the AmAOP members participate?

 

The available doctor or other provider closest to the veteran’s home will be contacted by the Association and given the veteran’s contact information. The doctor’s office will contact the veteran directly by email or phone with an appointment date and time. The veteran will see the doctor who may following the office visit provide a “script” to be filled by the VA and/or refer the veteran to the VA for a follow-up.

 

Our ability to help veterans who want medical care is limited only by the number of available member physicians and their locations. The Association needs thousands of doctors and other licensed health care practitioners who share our concerns for the health and quality of life of our veterans.
